Hello my blog! Oh how I have missed you! It has been a long (or short) month! When we left here a month ago, Logan was on dialysis and needed daily shots and required lots and lots of work. Though worth every minute of it of course. Now he is a normal baby. He isn't tied to a machine 12 hours a day. Gone are the days where I worry endlessly about his labs and gone are the days when I obsess endlessly about when we will get the call.
Logan has a kidney and for the most part he is a happy, healthy baby boy!
Many prayers please for his wonderful donor's family! While we have had a wonderfulmiracle this month...they are still mourning the loss of their 19 year old child. Not a day goes by that I don't think of their genorosity. I will start soon on a letter of thanks to them. But, how do you thank someone who has given your child the gift of life? Words cannot describe how indebted I am to them. I guess for now a simple thank you will have to do.
And now I am going to get to the task of arranging and rearranging our house. Trust me our house has been completely neglected the past year that we have lived here. So, off I go. : )

YAYAYAY for your new normal! Although still not quite the "normal" that everyone else would expect, a far cry from where Logey was just 1 short month ago. Thank you to the family who made that selfless sacrifice and gave him the chance to be a happy HEALTHY little boy. And welcome home!!

Oh! I am so excited for your prayers answered!! I am sure that the donor family feels your gratefulness.
And how sweet of you to reach out to others in the way that you do to me. :)

So happy you are home with Little Man! Love ya!
What a refreshing post! And as far as the donor's family. Speak from your heart, you can't go wrong :)
They won't list him until he makes the weight requirement which is 10 kgs, he's at 9.8kg. So we wait. He's been at that weight for 2 months now...we'll see how much longer it takes.
Thanks for the hug. :)
Welcome home! I'm so glad Logan is doing so well, music to my ears. The donor's family are in my thoughts.
