Fourth of July pics

Logan Update

Well, our little man is doing fairly well. He had a drs appt on Tuesday and it went well. He was 12 lbs 5 oz, naked which represents almost a lb gain on their scale. : ) He is doing great with the overnight continous feeds. He's almost sitting up and this week learned how to roll over both ways. He's moving quite a bit now. He started eating banana on Saturday but I didn't give him any yesterday since he had some diarrhea. I don't think it's related to the banana, I think he may have a bit of a stomach bug, AGAIN. I had a bad stomach virus this weekend. It was horrible, I was dizzy, nauseated, and really achy. Yesterday Logan and I stayed in bed ALL day, that's how bad I was feeling. But here it is 6 am and I'm feeling much better. Which is great because the boys have their first day of swimming lessons today. Well, Cristian went through 4 weeks of swimming earlier in the summer but this is Jaden's first day ever of lessons. We moved Thursday of last week and let me just say, moving sucks, especially when you are infested with a plague of mosquitos because of a hurricane the week before. I still don't know where anything is, including Vidal's shoes that he will need for work in about an hour and a half, hmmmmmmmm......

5-29-08-Lab and weighing

Logan had labs on Thursday. He took it like a trooper, he had stopped crying before the needle was even out of his arm. We got the results back on Friday and they were great--for him anyway. We also weighed him and he was 11 lbs, 13 oz at the ped's scale. The silly guy scared me though cause he had forgotten to add the 1 lb and was saying he was 10 lbs 13 oz. Our ped saw us in the hallway and asked how much he had gained. When I told her that he had lost she said, "that doesn't sound right, he's looking so chunky." So she weighed him herself and he had gained a lb in 15 days. We came home and the kiddos went swimming in Logan's birth pool. While my cousin was here they swam in it a lot so I'll just put all the pics together.

5-26-08-Memorial Day

The kids decided to dress up. Cristian and Jaden are dragons, Rana is a monkey, Makayla is Hannah Montana (in my maternity shirt), and Logan is a baby cow.

He couldn't care any less if we dress him up.

I let the girls give Logan a bottle of EBM for Memorial Day, they were so excited.

The family came over again for lunch. Everyone has to come to my house since I can't leave the house anymore on non-Grandma-daycare days. It was a nice time anyway though. My cousin Marilee and her kiddos came down from Houston, they had a great time all together. The kiddos hadn't seen each other since Logan was in the hospital. The girls were so excited to see Logan since they couldn't see him when he was in the NICU.
