This will be a very busy week for our littlest family member! Tuesday we are driving to Corpus and Logey will have his (hopefully) final sweat test at 10 am. Then he has an iron infusion at 11 am. Then he will have his normal visit--talk with Julie (his nurse), Carol (dietitian), Leticia (social worker), and then Dr Al-Akash. Hopefully it will be an uneventful visit. His labs were decent this week so I think it will be more of "needs to gain weight--he looks adorable, etc." We have to get him on the machine early on Monday night (and Sunday night) because he has surgery Wednesday morning to repair his hernia. I'm sure it will all go well. It's a pretty simple surgery. While Dr Almond is in there he will check for his right vas deferens. Then hopefully Thursday if all goes well with dialysis Weds night we will come home. Prayers and good thoughts would be much appreciated. Depending on what the sweat test shows, it could be an emotional week. I will try to update as soon as we get home.

Hi my name is Autumn. I am a friend of Tiara'a (www.aidansfight.com) I saw where you were checking in on them and wanted to say thank you, they need all of the support they can get right now. Also Good Luck in the upcoming week with your little guy, I hope things go well. Take care
As for Aidan's potassium they are not sure what made it go up. Aidan can not be on the low mineral formulas because of his milk allergy and we had just switched to a new pediatric formula. They said that it did have more potassium but that can't be why it went up like it did. Right now they have him back on similac advance until they get everything under control and start to switch him to a new formula...
I don't mind that you are praying for him and have him on prayer lists. Too much prayer never hurt anyone.
